Dr. Galang is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. He received his MD from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines and completed his pathology residency training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Galang is an Assistant Clinical Professor of pathology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine where, as a member of the GI committee, he teaches gastrointestinal pathology to medical students. He established the fine needle aspiration biopsy service at St. Vincent Charity Hospital and later founded OncoDiagnostic Laboratory Inc. Dr. Galang has forty years of experience in pathology with special interest in GI pathology, fine needle aspiration biopsy cytology, prostate and gynecological pathology. He has authored articles in urology, fine needle aspiration cytology and general pathology and has conducted seminars in "Biopty Gun and Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsies of the Prostate" for the International Academy of Pathology.
